خواہش

پھولوں کی حسین راہگزر پر

چاہتوں کے دل فریب نگر میں

کلیوں کے حسین چمن میں

اپنے دیس کی ان گلیوں میں

جہاں ہر طرف حسین سماں ہو

ہر دل میں ہوں امنگیں

جذبات جواں ہوں

ہم کسی خاموش جنگل میں

کسی پیڑ کے سائے میں

کچھ دیر کے لیے

ذرا رُکیں

کچھ قسمیں وعدے، اقرار کریں

کچھ ان کہے لفظوں سے

ان کہی باتوں سے

ان کہے جذبوں سے

چاہت کا اظہار کریں

جب سرِ شام

ساحل پہ

چاندنی جگمگاتی ہو

ساحل کی گیلی ریت پر

کچھ دیر کے لیے ہی سہی

کچھ دور تک

قدم ملا کر

ہم سفر بن کر

ہمراہی بن کر

اک دوجے کے سنگ چلیں

جیسے تیز ہوا میں

!ڈور کیساتھ پتنگ چلے

In the heart’s deceit  place of love
In the Ravishing gardens of Buds

Where there is exquisite scenes all around
